Joel Salatin coming to Kingsland

2 Comments 03 January 2012

Joel Salatin has been called ”the world’s most innovative farmer” by TIME Magazine. Kingsland Farmers’ Market is proud to announce that we are bringing Mr. Salatin to Calgary on March 21, 2012. Joel is known and respected world-wide for his family’s innovative and effective farming techniques that allow them to grow ‘beyond organic’ meat and vegetables effectively, in a way which regenerates their farmland while making them a profitable livelihood.

On Wednesday, March 21, Kingsland Farmer’s Market is hosting Joel Salatin’s workshop on how to make your small farm more ethical, profitable, and deeply integrated with your local community. This workshop is an important one for anyone involved in local food, sustainability or agriculture to attend. A second, shorter workshop will be offered the following day.

We’ll post more details right here in the next few days. In the meantime, if you would like to send us your email to be certain that you receive any and all updates as soon as they become available, please send your email address to Lori Wheeler, our Director of Marketing and Community Building.    lori@kingslandfarmersmarket.com
